Technologies

Cutting-edge technology
Ultra wideband frequencies  Tracking with ultra wideband (UWB) radio frequencies is the most accurate locating solution available on the market. Offering at least 10 times the precision of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) technology, it is also the most reliable option.   Unlike with Wi-Fi positioning systems, the variation between readings is extremely minimal. When significant variations occur in Wi-Fi-based systems, they fail to offer the same data consistency as ultra wideband technology.
A real-time locating system
Kencee geolocation technology is a real-time location system (RTLS) that lets you track key assets of your production chain virtually immediately. Using triangulation, it measures the distance between an active tag and at least three receivers.
The system calculates the time it takes for each receiver to respond to the signal sent by the tag. In this way, it is able to determine exactly where the tag is located in a given space.
Each tag sends out a signal that is relayed back to it by the receivers. Next, the tag sends the receivers a response. All this occurs in a matter of nanoseconds, enabling the system to determine the tag’s exact position and track its movement continually.
Active RFID tags
RFID, which stands for radio-frequency identification, is an automatic identification solution that uses battery-assisted tags. Thanks to this energy source, the tags run autonomously and emit signals at a predefined rate, generally an interval of approximately two seconds.
