High-precision ultra-wideband (UWB) technology*
Precision locating within a 10-50 cm radius.
*At least 10 times more precise than Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE technology.
Kencee is a new real-time locating system that uses active RFID tags and receivers to identify and track the location of all the important elements in your production chain, such as component parts, automated guided vehicles and finished products.
Each tag enables you to monitor an object’s movement and pin down its location at any time.
Kencee’s active tags continuously communicate their position to the receivers. The system analyzes the time it takes for these signals to reach the receivers down to the nanosecond. Using triangulation, the receivers are then able to track the position of every tag to a very high degree of precision.
The position of the tags is communicated to the central management system through your wireless network using receivers strategically placed throughout your facility.
Each tag can provide a wealth of data, like a description of the tagged item, a work order, a list of inputs contained in the final product, information on automated operations and much more.
Kencee supports your productivity thanks to its smart and interconnected approach. It offers you a clear, comprehensive and detailed vision of all the data associated with your production chain.
Most importantly, Kencee lets you optimize your processes so you can achieve substantial efficiency gains.
Kencee: active tags and receivers that locate every key element of your production chain in real time.
Having the ability to analyze this crucial data will help support your productivity through smart methods while offering numerous other benefits:
Precision locating within a 10-50 cm radius.
*At least 10 times more precise than Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE technology.
Signals are emitted continually for improved fluidity.
Can support an infinite number of configurable active tags and receivers.
A unique tag is assigned to each item from the beginning to the end of its production cycle. It is then returned to the start of the chain where it can be reused.
Along x-, y- and z-axes.
Each active tag is equipped with an accelerometer for reducing signal frequency while it is immobile.
Your systems will be able to communicate with one another, creating a smart production chain.
The receivers communicate with the positioning server via the existing wireless network.
All data transferred between the receivers and the positioning system is protected by a powerful encryption protocol.
The obtained data will enable more powerful analytics, helping you optimize your production flow.
The added value of the collected and interpreted data will quickly translate into improved processes and results.
The digitalization of your processes is facilitated thanks to fluid, real-time communication between production and administration.
The tag carries a wealth of information, such as the description of the item, a work order, the list of inputs that make up the finished product, the triggering of automated transactions, and more.
The reciever continuously collects the information of each of the beacons and performs the location of these by triangulation by calculating the delay of propagation of the signals to the nearest nanosecond.
